Frequently Asked Questions

Do you sell direct to the public?

We currently sell direct to the public via our shop in Tea Tree Gully. We started out as a wholesale business however since we have opened and word has spread, we have opened our ordering to the general public! Currently orders can be placed by email to margaret@glutenfreecreations.com.au.

Why can't I order online?

Our range is extensive and aims to meet a variety of needs. Ordering via Instagram, Facebook, text message, phone or email allows us to ensure that your order is exactly what you need!

What is in your flour mix?

We mix our own flour, a blend of white rice flour, tapioca flour and potato flour. This is our base blend to which we may add ingredients such as corn flour, baking powder and xanthan gum depending on what we are making!  Mixing our own flour allows us to easily alter our mix if required.

Can you give me the ingredients list for your products?

Absolutely! We understand that when managing allergies and intolerances, peace of mind is important. When making your enquiry, please feel free to request an ingredients list for the flavour cake you are interested in and we will happily provide this for you.

Do you use soy in your products?

Some of our products contain soy, please contact us if you have any queries.

Do you support local suppliers and farmers

Yes, we source our stock from local suppliers and aim to buy Australian owned and made products where possible. We select our fresh fruit and vegetables from local farmers markets to support our local farmers by purchasing their fantastic fresh produce!

Do you charge extra for additional dietary requirements?

In most cases, no. If an alteration impacts the yield of a cake recipe, an additional charge may apply to ensure you have enough cake! An additional fee may also be charged if there is a significant increase in costs as a result of the alteration. Most other alterations can be accommodated at no extra charge.

What is your approach to waste reductions?

We have a strong focus on limiting waste in our bakery. It is difficult given the nature of our business however we do our best! We buy in bulk from local suppliers where possible. All recyclables, including soft plastics, are washed as necessary, sorted and recycled. Our organic waste is used at home in our garden compost or for feeding our chickens! We do not use glad wrap unless it is unavoidable opting for reusable containers and food wraps.

Do you charge a delivery fee?

Yes, we can deliver for a negotiated price - depending on distance.

All orders can be collected in person at no cost. A date and time will be scheduled for your delivery or collection when you place your order!
